Snapchat introduces Snap Map, which simply keep with Ghost Mode.

Introducing Snap Map

Though it may have lost the war with Instagram’s copycat Stories feature (which now has more users), Snapchat keeps chugging along. The company behind the app has unveiled a new feature today, in fact. It’s called Snap Map. Yes, it’s a map view. And, as you’d expect, you’ll see your friends on it.

Here’s how it works. You pinch to “zoom out” into the new map view, which is where you’ll see the Actionmoji of your friends who have opted to share their location with you. They will be neatly positioned on said map, ready for you to find out exactly where in the world they are. And when you tap on anyone’s Actionmoji, you’ll be taken straight to their latest Story.

You’re in control of your location data – you choose whether you want to share it with friends, or keep it to yourself in Ghost Mode.
