Apple’s new iPhone 8 ‘will come with mirrored shine finish

TimeOdd Stories -Apple iPhone8

The new gadget is set to come in a mirrored finish which you’ll totally ruin with your buttery fingertips, according to the latest leaks. (Although you’ll still be able to get it in classic Apple colours such as black, according to prolific Apple leaker Benjamin Geskin).

Last week, a respected analyst said that the phone will be a missing a front button – and will drop the Touch ID fingerprint recognition system entirely.

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo – who has a long track record of accurate predictions of Apple products – sent out a report this week, which claims Apple will drop fingerprint ID for a new facial recognition system.

The analyst says the iPhone 8 will feature ‘the highest screen-to-body ratio of any phone on the market’ – and will drop the home button.

He writes, ‘We predict the OLED model won’t support fingerprint recognition, reasons being: the full-screen design doesn’t work with existing capacitive fingerprint recognition, and the scan-through ability of the under-display fingerprint solution still has technical challenges’
He also claims the last minutes change will not mean delays.

‘As the new OLED iPhone won’t support under-display fingerprint recognition, we now do not expect production ramp-up will be delayed again
